1910-7-23 Ogden Morning Examiner. No box. Was Ladies' Day.
1911-4-16) Tribune. 600 ATT. Mooney described as "elongated and eccentric."
"The same teams will clash again at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. This con test should develop into a pitchers' battle royal.
The elongated, eccentric Mooney will be on the mound for the Oxies, while Fred Annis, the former Salt Laker, will do the hurling for Margetts's men. The last time these slab artists met the game went fourteen Innings. This was last winter, a year ago, in the Coast Winter league. Annis was hurling for the Oxies and Mooney was on the mound for the Los Angeles Trilbys. In the Oxies' half of the fourteenth inning, with the score tied, Annis won his own game. After he had rapped out a two-bagger, Billy Lane, the Oxles' star third sacker, sent him home with a single.
Hurling for the Salt Lake team in the Intermountain league in 1909, Annis pitched forty consecutive innings without allowing a score."

Morgan, Willis p -26W, 1914 UA  1916 Brigham line-up with full names. Movement to close businesses during game. "The ball suits have arrived and are on display at the Texas Tailors and Bert Olsen's billiard hall." 2 Hit homer to break tie and win game 6-4.

Willis "Cy" Morgan

1917-12-21 Has enlisted into the army. He quit pro ball after 1915 and has been in the automobile business in Brigham City since then, "as proprietor of the Morgan Auto company."
1918-4-02 Pic + shorter report of game.
1918-4-12 Is a soldier in Camp Johnston, Jacksonville FL. Beat the PHA 3-1 with his spitter and emery ball, giving up just three hits. 10K soldiers watched the game.
1920-8-03 A visitor at the game spoke badly of Morgan. "No player on the team works harder and more consistently to put over a victory than does Cy Morgan." Insulting to say he would ever throw a game by lax play. He has been playing the entire season without any promise of pay - victory is its own reward for him. Unselfish.

1922-7-12 team reorganized. William McIvor is part of club.

Japanese player for 1953 state champs - Ug Harada.

1928 Legion champs
