1922-8-04 439-78 record. "He is the star pitcher of the Infantry School Detachment (white) team commanded by Samuel L. Buracker, stationed at Fort Benning [Georgia], and since he joined the team three years ago the record shows 118 games won and 15 lost. They have won the army pennant three years."    
    52 years old. Has been pitching 28 years. 
    "When asked when he would quit pitching, he answered: "When I leave the army, and my time isn't up for a long while yet." 
    Pitching two seasons in the Cotton Sales [sic?] League while on furlough in 1902 and 1903.

1922-6-26 Lost 5-0 to Albany GA team (made of U. of GA players) as George Clarke no-hit Fort Benning.
